Magalie Laliberté is an international development worker, with ten years of experience in developing and implementing programs and projects of a greater scale focused on youth empowerment through entrepreneurship, leadership, and active citizenship. After implementing a hub for entrepreneurs, she developed an expertise in capacity building of local organizations, for developing strategies that prioritize youth issues and partnerships. She worked in various West African countries: Senegal, Mali, Benin, Togo, and Ghana, with many Canadian NGOs.
Before working in Africa, Magalie was a political advisor at the Quebec Government and contributed to the promotion of education and school perseverance while she sat at the board of Montreal Hooked on School and Rosemont College. She wants to pursue her commitment to youth empowerment within IDEA entrepreneurial education.
