Sylvie Nadon has been involved for over thirty years in the field of education, vocational training and qualification of the workforce. In Québec, her career in education includes working as a teacher, as the director of a vocational training centre as well as managing, a department for vocational training, adult education and business services within a large school district for eight years. Afterwards, she worked during twelve years within the Québec construction industry’s main governmental and employer’s organizations as a representative, manager and negotiator of this industry’s orientations in terms of basic and continuous training of workforce. This included the development and implementation of a training funds for workers. Sylvie completed her graduate studies in school administration and her post-graduate studies in andragogy. She brings to Idea entrepreneurial education a complementary expertise in project development and international partnerships.
