Committed partner in the development of the entrepreneurial community school (ECS) for over 17 years as teacher, school principal, director of pedagogy and now deputy executive director of Idea entrepreneurial education, Jean-Sébastien Reid is an experienced educator in innovation and technologies as well as in entrepreneurial education.

From 1998 to 2004, he successively worked as a teacher, responsible for the academic development for the Sports-Art-Culture Program and vice-principal and principal of École-des-Cœurs-Vaillant (Québec, Canada). As of 2009, he also acted as Director of instructional design for the Réseau québécois des écoles entrepreneuriales et environnementales (RQEEE). He has then held this position full time for two years.

In September 2014, he became director of pedagogy and innovation for the International organization of conscious entrepreneurial community school (OIECEC). Jean-Sébastien then supported entrepreneurial community schools of all levels and located on several continents in their transformation process. Leading actor of the creation of the non-profit organization Idea entrepreneurial education and its international division OIECEC, his profound conviction and commitment make him work for the benefit of a quality education for all. As he likes to get off the beaten tracks, Jean-Sébastien loves to overcome challenges initially seen as impossible to achieve”.
